UX.institute is an experimental project from the creator of UI-Patterns.com.

The goal is to present a pragmatic and solution oriented approach to creating awesome user experiences. Through a series of useful, applicable, and to-the-point content, the goal is to present a cohesive vision and mindset of how to do great UX.

In this way, UX.institute is far from academic and inclusive, but rather action-oriented and opinionated. Still, the approach presented is rooted in the scientific method where assumptions are turned into hypothesis’ to be tested.

While our approach is opinionated, the way we make decisions isn’t. At UX.institute, we just like to spend out time getting things done rather than discussing for and against. So let the data talk. If we don’t have any data, we create it ourselves – qualitative or quantitative. Empathy and metrics work in harmony.
